Põhjala’s Käbi is a 6% ABV American IPA that brings to the glass the resinous, lively character of American hops together with an ingredient that tells the story of the land: Estonian pine needles. From the Tallinn brewery comes a meeting between American hop tradition and the Nordic forest, in an aromatic profile of resin, citrus zest and balsamic, woodland notes that recall the air of a pine grove. The body is fluid, supported by a discreet malt base that leaves room for the hops, while the bitterness is firm and well calibrated and closes the sip with a dry, fresh, lingering finish. A bold, fragrant IPA, best served chilled, in a tulip glass or a nonic, for those who seek in hops a bright and original expression, with the taste of forest and North.
