Nelson is Alpine Beer Company's 7% IPA, named after Nelson Sauvin, an outstanding New Zealand hop variety that stars in both the brew and the dry hop of this complex, well-balanced beer. Its hazy straw hue, topped with a bright white foam, opens onto a tropical hop aroma; pine and fruity hop notes linger long on the palate, expertly balanced by the smooth sweetness of European rye malts. The result is a stunning, multifaceted IPA that stays mellow without ever losing its complexity.
