The William Brothers Scottish Brewery is the only one in the world to carry on the Gaelic tradition of flavored beers with the addition of heather (Fraoch in Gaelic), a spontaneous shrub that grows on the moors. This traditional Ale involves the addition of heather and Dutch myrtle leaves to the boil and heather flowers to infuse before fermentation.
