Ghost Impact is the result of a collaboration between Birrificio RentOn and Birrificio Bajön, a Double IPA with a bold yet surprisingly balanced character. It pours an intense, slightly hazy golden color with a compact foam that hints at its rich and modern aromatic profile. On the nose it bursts with fruity and tropical notes, featuring yellow stone fruit, ripe citrus, mango, peach and subtle resinous, dank nuances. The bitter backbone provided by Columbus offers structure and a clean finish, while Centennial in the boil adds fresh citrus and floral tones. The dry hopping is the beating heart of this beer: Eclipse delivers hints of mandarin and sweet citrus, Enigma contributes red fruit and white grape notes, and El Dorado CGX enhances the tropical profile with touches of pineapple, mango and fruit candy. On the palate it is soft yet assertive, remarkably smooth despite its 7.6% ABV, with an elegant bitterness and a juicy fruit component that immediately invites another sip. Ghost Impact is a contemporary Double IPA—intense, aromatic and dangerously easy to drink.
