Description
Costa d'Ulisse Rosso is born from a careful manual selection of Syrah grape clusters, harvested in 10 kg crates with artisanal precision. It ferments spontaneously in steel, then ages partly in terracotta amphora and partly in 15 hl wooden vessels, a dual maturation path that returns to the wine layering, depth and a complexity difficult to achieve with a single container. After a brief rest in steel it is bottled without any filtration, stabilization or fining, in the conviction that the best wine is the one from which as little as possible is taken away, any sediment on the bottom of the bottle is the most honest proof of this. Limited production of 1933 bottles, for a Syrah that bears the marks of time, of the earth, and of a hand that knows when to step aside.
