Description
Grape varieties: Parellada, Folle Blanche.
Alcohol content: 38% vol.
Comments: Jaime I brandy is obtained with the older "soleras", some of which date back 30 years, appropriately preserved in the Torres cellars to create reserves of great value and prestige. Jaime I presents a dark, rich and deep amber color. It exhibits a concentrated and complex bouquet, with marked reminiscences of coconut, dried fruit and spices, typical of its very long aging. Jaime I is complex, majestic, with a persistent finish that leaves a velvety imprint on the palate.
Additional notes: PH: 3.1, acidity: 1 grs/l (in tartaric), residual sugars: 14 grs/l., approximate shelf life: over 20 years.
In homage to the figure of Gaudí and the innovative spirit of that period, Casa Torres has created this old and noble brandy that bears the name of its founder. The bottle, designed by the famous Japanese architect Hiroya Tanaka, takes the shape of one of the chimneys of the Pedrera building.
