RUM Colon Salvadoreno Coffee Infused 55,5° 70 Cl.

Produced through the blend of: a column distilled Salvadoran rum from the Licorera Cihuatán distillery, an unaged Jamaican rum produced by the Worthy Park, Hampden and Monymusk distilleries and a 3 year aged Jamaican rum produced by Worthy Park. All the rums in the blend are aged in the production distillery. This blend is then cold infused with bourbon coffee beans from the El Ciprés region, grown at 1700 meters above sea level, for 48 hours. The rum is then not cold filtered to retain all the essential oils of the coffee. The nose presents notes of coffee, toasted almonds and woody and spicy notes. Hints of red fruits and warm vanilla which brings a sweeter note complete the bouquet. On the palate the coffee infusion brings notes of dark chocolate and dried plums. The flavor is rich, warm, with hints of hazelnut and a small hint of bitterness. It is balanced by the aged rum notes of fresh banana and ripe pineapple.
