RUM Diplomatico Mantuano 40° 70 Cl.

Rum Diplomático Mantuano is produced at the foot of the Andes, in Venezuela. Made through a blend of rums distilled in column stills and pot stills, it is aged for 8 years in white oak barrels that previously contained bourbon or whisky. The term "mantuano", which stands for "nobleman", refers to Don Juancho, a very famous character in local culture depicted on all the labels of Diplomático rums who loved collecting high quality rums. Dark golden yellow in colour, Diplomático's Rum Mantuano opens on the nose with intense aromas of dried fruit and plum, enriched with delicate spicy notes. On the palate it is harmonious and complex, with hints of wood and vanilla, closing on a balanced and slightly dry finish. Excellent to serve alone, it is ideal as an ingredient for mixing cocktails.
