Description
Produced by one of Okinawa's oldest and largest distilleries, Masahiro Distillery, founded in 1883. Masahiro Distillery is the first Okinawa distillery to be ISO 9001 certified (the international standard for a quality management system). Masahiro Pure Malt Whiskey combines Pure Malts aged for more than 3 years in ex-Sherry Butt and Bourbon barrels and then finished for at least 6 months in Jack Daniel's first fill Bourbon barrels. Okinawa's humid, warm subtropical climate and Pacific Ocean breezes help accelerate barrel maturation, creating a rich, balanced flavor with hints of tropical fruit.
