Description
Yamazakura takes its name from two Japanese symbols: "Yama" which means "mountain", and "Sakura" which refers to cherry trees, symbols of ephemeral beauty. This YAMAZAKURA BLENDED WHISKEY is produced by the Sasanokawa Shuzo distillery using four malt and grain whiskeys aged in Bourbon barrels. Sasanokawa Shuzo was founded in 1765 and acquired a license to produce whiskey in 1946. Since then, it is the oldest whiskey distillery in the Tohoku area.
