The Augustiner Weissbier is the Weisse par excellence, processed according to the now tested methods and based on ingredients chosen with the utmost care. Through fermentation in the bottle, inside special underground rooms and subjected to careful care, until maximum maturity, this beer is loved for its peculiar digestibility and its characteristic flavour. The beers of the Augustiner-Bräu brewery are specialties which, produced following to the letter the strict rules printed in the Bavarian "Reinheitsgebot" of 1516 (decree which dictates the only ingredients that can be used for original Bavarian beer to this day), also satisfy the broadest expectations. Quality and distinction have always been traditions of Augustiner-Bräu, the oldest brewery in Munich.
